Extension Module IEI (for INCREDIBLY ENGAGING INTERACTIVES MODULE)

 INCREDIBLY ENGAGING INTERACTIVES MODULE

(Previously this module was called our Low End Octagon (LEO) module.)

 32 INTERACTIVES:

This module has 32 different interactives on it.

This module can be added onto the low end of any of my center modules.

This module provides visitors with an incredibly intriguing array of intertwined manipulatives.

ICONS A-P (for reference on INCREDIBLY ENGAGING INTERACTIVES (IEI) MODULE:

Full descriptions of these 32 different interactives are too long to include here, please contact me for more information on all of these interrelated interactives that your visitors can manipulate, explore and experience on this incredible water art extension module!

Side View of INCREDIBLY ENGAGING INTERACTIVES (IEI) MODULE:

This image shows you another viewing angle into this fascinating array of interrelated interactives.

INCREDIBLY ENGAGING INTERACTIVES MODULE ATTACHED TO TFL-10-59:

This image shows my IEI module attached to either my Medium Center Module or my Large Center Module, as both contain the same cascading interactives on their low end.

ADDITIONAL VIEW:

Here you are looking down into the vast array of interconnected manipulatives and interactives.

Build bridges that carry water across a high opening, cause turbines to spin, drive a water wheel from above, below, or both!

Make water descend down a circular staircase, and direct water down an aqueduct.

Extension Module: MMR (for MEDIUM MAKE IT RAIN)

Medium MAKE IT RAIN Module

This module can be added onto the high end of any of my Center Modules at any time in the future.

Visitors cause a normal rain to fall on the thick tempered glass ceiling just inches above their heads. If they cooperate to hold both rain controls on at once a torrential rainfall is released, with lightning flashes and low thunder!

Scroll down for more details.

View Inside Rain Interactive:

This image shows where visitors go to be rained right on top of.  They are beneath the clear ceiling that is inches above their heads.

This is an immersive water exhibit experience where where lots of water pounds down on top of visitors, yet they remain completely dry!

For more information, please visit page titled "Extensions".

Educate About Water Cycle:

How does the water that falls as rain everywhere on Earth actually get into a cloud?  Water is heavy.  The amount of water that falls on an entire city during a day long drenching rain can weigh millions of pounds!  How does that much weight of water get up there?

Use this module to educate visitors about the water cycle.

Rain Control:

There are two of these rain controls inside the visitor enclosure.  When visitors rotate the cloud to cover the Sun a normal rain falls on the clear tempered glass ceiling.  When visitors hold both rain controls over the Sun a torrential thunderstorm rains down over their heads, accompanied by lightning and low thunder!

Extension Module: LMR (for LARGE MAKE IT RAIN)

Large MAKE IT RAIN Module

This module can be added onto the high end of my center modules.

Visitors cause a nice rain to fall on the thick tempered glass cathedral ceiling overhead.  If they cooperate to hold both rain controls on at once a torrential rainfall is released, with lightning flashes and low thunder!

Frequently filled with squeals and laughter!

Contact me for more info.

IMAGE: STAFF ACCESS FOR CLEANING

Designed for ease of cleaning, this image shows our excellent staff only access to all surfaces that get rained on.

We use thick tempered glass for safety in this module (or if you prefer, we can use clear acrylic or polycarbonate panels).

RAIN CONTROL:

Visitors make it rain by grabbing the red ball handle and rotating the cloud over the sun icon.

There are two such rain controls on this Large Make.  When visitors rotate the cloud over the Sun, it rains!

NATURAL TERRAIN EXHIBITS

As shown in the images above and below, we can replicate natural terrain, including significant landmark features, in any of our water art exhibits.  Please contact us for additional information.

Extension Module Canal Lock

ERIE CANAL LOCK #2 REPLICA

Visitors manipulate the controls (located out of view on the opposite side) to either introduce or remove water from the floor within the lock.  Importantly, this replicates the actual way locks around the world introduce and remove water from within the lock, to guard against water flow within the lock causing the boat to be slammed into the concrete sides of the lock.

ERIE LOCK #2 SHOWN ATTACHED TO MY MEDIUM CENTER MODULE

This image shows our optional tapered transition onto a wider center module.

My canal lock exhibits also have the option of visitor manipulated flow of water through the canal, from high to low rates of flow.  Then they can then observe how real world lock infrastructure automatically redirects this always arriving water around the lock.

Natural Terrain can be in Extension Modules or it can be in Free Standing Exhibits

BOAT RACING EXHIBIT:

Water flows from this end to opposite end (not shown).  Exhibit can be any length.

Visitors can blow on little sail boats to race each other.

You can provide sailboats, and/or let visitors make their own with:

  • Hull:  Flat styrofoam pre-cut with pointed bow
  • Mast:  Popsicle stick masts to push into styrofoam
  • Sail:  Of thin, stiff plastic sheets, with pre-cut slits to slide over mast.

RAIN CLOUD:

This image shows one possible, smaller rain cloud that we can build into any exhibit or extension module.

Clouds can be much larger, and can produce much wider rainfalls.

This image shows the cloud raining.

This images shows the cloud not raining.

Extension Module HET (High End Turbine)

LARGE REVERSIBLE HORIZONTAL TURBINE

This module can be added onto the high end of several different versions of my water art exhibits.

It features a beautiful high mounted, dome shaped fountain that feeds 8 different visitor interactives.

8 additional visitor interactives flow from the perimeter of this module.

Contact me for more info.

IMAGE: CLOSEUP VIEW OF TURBINE BLADES

Visitors have 21 different interactives in this module.  18 of them direct water onto these horizontal turbine blades.  3 direct water at the waterfall cascade.

Visitors can cause this horizontal turbine to spin either direction, depending on how they direct the water into it.

MY WATER ART WORK

All people, of all ages, are attracted to murmuring streams of freely flowing fresh water.

My STEM water art exhibits deliver beautiful streams of quickly flowing crystal clear water, and provide visitors of all ages with many deeply intriguing water interactives for them to discover, explore and manipulate.

LEARNING ON MY THOUGHTS FLOW WATER ART WORK

Because there are no wrong moves on my Thoughts Flow water art exhibits, visitors thoughts are not interrupted.

Their minds can then ascend into uninterrupted abstract thought for significant periods of time,

continually analyzing different possible choices and then determining the best one to implement.

 WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

It has been shown that doing so can help young brains develop pathways in the brain that will

forever help them to envision more than one possibility, and to determine the better choice.

GOOD LIFE SKILL

This is beneficial mental capability that we should all encourage the development of.
